I have added a "Block & Tackle" based LEGO device to my site at
http://www3.sympatico.ca/jdkalpin. Check it out.
Block & Tackle is a formal mechanism, as much as a wedge or lever or gear.
It has some amazing benefits. But it's hard to work it into a design and
some of its inversions are difficult to understand.
I have done a search on this newsgroup but found little. If anyone knows of
something similar, could you send me the URL? I would like to link other
examples to my site.
