Does anyone know where to get a non-Unicode version of ATL.DLL that works
with ATLClient.exe under Windows 95?

After installing the ATL.DLL downloaded February 6, 2001 from
(http://henrik.husted.net/download/atl.zip) located by Jonathan Knudsen
April 11, 2000 (http://news.lugnet.com/robotics/?n=11286), my next attempt
to run ATLClient.exe resulted in the message "ATL: Can not run Unicode
version of ATL.DLL on Windows 95.  Please install the correct version."

The downloaded Version = 3.00.8449 (dated December 7, 1999; size 57.5KB).
Robert Eddings' reply April 13, 2000
(http://news.lugnet.com/robotics/?n=11294) indicated that he also downloaded
ATL.DLL from that site, it also worked for him, but his downloaded Version =
3.00.8168 (68KB), i.e., different from the ATL.DLL downloaded by me February
6, 2001.  Looks like Henrik replaced it with a Unicode version.

I had tried the Visual C++ ATL stuff that Tilman suggested, but it didn't work, possibly because I'm running SP3 rather than SP6. At any rate, I found an atl.dll that works, from here: (...) (24 years ago, 11-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics)
