| | (...) I had some success with a pendulum blocking a light sensor - and also with a pendulum swinging from an axle with a 40t gear meshing onto an 8t gear on a rotation sensor. | | | | I've built a self-leveling platform using a pendulum and light sensor approach. The response time of the pendulum is not very fast, but the platform does not move very fast either, so it works reasonably well. Details can be found here: (URL) that (...) I got bogged down fixing bugs in the legOS rotation sensor code (since losing or adding a count meant seeking permanent TILT instead of level!). For (...)
