I tried to make a proximitysensor with was "direction aware", this means i used two lightsensors on port 1 and 3. And tried to make the change of direction dependable of with sensor(event) was triggert. See code : #define EVENT_PROXL 0 // proximity (...) (25 years ago, 28-Oct-00, to lugnet.robotics)

I just posted a message on Thursday about this. I solved this problem in Minerva, in my book _The Unofficial Guide to Lego Mindstorms Robots_. Then I solved it again, in a different way, for the RIS 1.5-compliant version of Minerva. The building (...) (25 years ago, 28-Oct-00, to lugnet.robotics)

The approach I would take would be to use a splitter (ratchet or worm) and make one output shaft a gear selector for a transmission, and the other shaft the input power for the transmission. The transmission design would be tricky, because the (...) (25 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.robotics)
