I've seen RCX's used for this sort of thing before - one that comes to mind
is one with a heat sensor to measure aitr temp at different heights, and
another was a glider than used a micromotor to adjust the balance and so
steer the aircraft. I seem to remember seeing these on the LEGO Mindstorms
site in the member's area - there are some crazy people around!
