I am wondering if anyone has attempted to interface either the RCX or the
Dacta Control Lab serial box to macromedia director.  I work for a company
that designs science museum exhibits, and I think there are some neat things
that could be done with the robots from a standard Director-based kiosk
control panel.  My job is to make it happen, so I'm naturally first
interested to hear if anyone has already tried it.

I did find the control lab's protocol online thanks to this list's website,
so that is a huge help.  I may be able to get it to work with the serial
port xtra.  As for the RCX though.. I'm not sure what the possibilities are.
I'm also not sure how to communicate with the IR tower through the serial
port. This protocol info would be helpful too, though I'm not confident I
could even implement it if found (I'm not a software engineer, I'm an analog
audio EE). Worth a shot though :-)

Any input on or off the list would be most helpful.

Thanks,

Adam
