How does your LEGO-DCP adapter compare to the three wire adapter from Techno
Stuff at http://home.flash.net/~sevcik/3wire.htm for sensor projects other than
LogIT sensors? Are the other LogIT sensors not supported because of no
support in the RCX code, or are they truely incompatible with the RCX using the
Lego-DCP adapter?

Are there any plans to add Lego style studs to the sensors to make mounting
easier?

Another question? The movement sensor (rotation sensor) literature claims 360
degrees of movement but only 340 degrees is measured. Yet the sensor seems to
return valid raw values for all 360 degrees of rotation. Can you please
explain? Thanks!

I have been reading with interest the comments about our range of DCP
sensors and their use with RCX.  To help I thought we would post a few
comments:

Currently seven of our LogIT Microsense Sensors are supported by the
LEGO-DCP adapter - sound, voltage, temperature, pH, angular position,
humidity and air pressure.  These sensors form part of a larger data
logging range, LogIT, that we, DCP Microdevelopments Ltd,  produce for
use in education and industry.  They do appear expensive when
compared to home made versions but they are accurately calibrated,
robust and made from quality components - they are designed for
serious scientific investigations that require accurate results.

One important note is that the adapter is a great deal more than just a
din plug wired onto a LEGO connector (the designer was nearly driven to
tears on reading this !).  There are over 19 active micro components on a
20mm x 12mm double sided circuit board which is fitted inside the DIN
plug.  The adapter itself was over a year in development as it has to
power the sensor while at the same time pass on accurate readings to
the RCX - all this down two wires.

Details of the LogIT system can be found at www.dcpmciro.com with
specific LEGO details at www.dcpmicro.com/lego

Please contact us if you need to know more or have any comments.
