LEGO Light sensors are a powered type and fairly tricky to multiplex. You
would need to recreate the whole powered interface for each added sensor.
Also there is only a limited amount of power available at a RCX sensor
input. You could use a multiplexer like the one on my page
http://www.plazaearth.com/usr/gasperi/mux.htm if you use passive CdS light
sensors like the ones on this page
http://www.plazaearth.com/usr/gasperi/cds.htm. I think you would need to
add a 10K pullup for each light sensor.

| I have seen a lot of discussions about using multiplexs or other itesm to allow the RCX to have more than 3 TOUCH SENSOR inputs on 1 RCX. Has anyone done any work on trying to hook up 4+ LIGHT SENSORS to the RCX? Thanks Ahui (24 years ago, 22-Jul-00, to lugnet.robotics)
