Virtual memory might be an option. Suppose you
get a PDA with lots of RAM to accompany and talk
to the RCX. The kind of virtual memory you'd get
this way could be transparent to the programmer
with the help of a firmware replacement. It would be
slow, sure. Pages would have to be really small (say,
32 bytes). The question is: would it be slower than
having the PDA control the RCX?
