Can anyone explain what's the use of the LED in the light sensor? I have a
rather weak background in EE. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

| The LEDs light reduce the influence of ambient light in the readings. If your objective is to measure ambient light in a specific direction, you can put a 1 x 2 beam in front of it connect with a plate under it. The beam hole will almost cover the (...)
