Today, I connected the light sensor on a touch sensor port,
then point it to a very bright source, to make it reported "1".
Afterward, the sensor port behave vey weird, I set all sensor
ports as light sensor port, then connect the light sensor to them
one by one, and read the reported value. I observed the red
LED on the light sensor becomes very dim, the damaged sensor
port always report "1", all others light sensor ports report values
between 0-1022.
And I have to reload the firmware to make my RCX resume
normal behavior.
