    atl.dll? —Jonathan Knudsen
I feel like an idiot, but when I try to run ATLClient.exe from the RIS 2.0 SDK, I get an error that atl.dll is not found. As a matter of fact, I don't have it anywhere. I'm on NT4. Any ideas? Thanks, Jonathan (25 years ago, 11-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics)

        RE: atl.dll? —Tilman Sporkert
Jonathan, I have a file with that name in winnt\system32. It is part of Microsoft's Visual C++. Looking through my Microsoft Developer Network stuff, it appears that this file also ships with Windows 98. ATL stands for "Active Template Library". I (...)         Re: atl.dll? —Jonathan Knudsen
I had tried the Visual C++ ATL stuff that Tilman suggested, but it didn't work, possibly because I'm running SP3 rather than SP6. At any rate, I found an atl.dll that works, from here: (...) (25 years ago, 11-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Does anyone know where to get a non-Unicode version of ATL.DLL that works with ATLClient.exe under Windows 95? After installing the ATL.DLL downloaded February 6, 2001 from ((URL) located by Jonathan Knudsen April 11, 2000 ((URL) my next attempt to (...) (24 years ago, 7-Feb-01, to lugnet.robotics)

I am getting the same error running win98. The exact error message reads: Error Starting Program The ATLCLIENT.EXE file is linked to missing export ATL.DLL:57.         Re: atl.dll? (Update) —Robert Eddings
The ATL.dll that came with my system (version 2.00.7024 size 20.5KB) does not work with ATLCLIENT.EXE. The one suggested by Jonathan (version 3.00.8168 size 68KB) does work. I hope this helps others that have this problem. Robert (25 years ago, 13-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics)
