I just assembled a desktop robot that is conected to a AC adapter. My
intention is to keep it on full time. Of course I won't keep motors on all
the time, but the light sensor and the RCX will. Does anybody knows if the
RCX or the light sensor have any problem with that?
Just for curiosity:
The robot is a traditional static robot about 15 cm tall with 3 motors, 2
touch sensors and 1 light sensor. It can move its torso left-right, move one
arm up-down and move both eyebrows and mouth up-down to show his "mood"
(happy, sad, angry and pleeding). The interesting part is that I can control
mouth and eyebrows up and down (all 4 combinations) with only one motor and
pulleys. No sensors. The touch sensors are used only to control torso and
arm limits.
My intention is to improve the software to implement some kind of AI to
control his behaviour. I'm currently using NQC. Right now he only swtiches
from happy and sad. He is afraid of dark. :)
