Yes, definitively look at the Lego Pitsco Dacta offerings. Although overall
relatively expensive, they have some nicely priced sets specificially designed
for use with the RCX and in class room environments. Better yet, they come with
nice stackable sorting trays. Everything has its place, and you can tell quickly
if pieces are missing. Web page is at:

Go to Robolab, then Robolabs Sets and Systems, then the Amusement Park Set for a
good example (it's the second item on the list). For $110, you get 2 motors, one
light sensor, two touch sensors, and about 285 other Technic parts, plus a nice
sorting tray with separate compartments for each type of part. Just the motors
and sensors cost you more than $80 if bought separately. I recently bought a
Cities and Transportation Set mostly because it contains 4 lights with
translucent covers in 4 different colors. You can order directly from the web
