#2 would be easy if Lego just sold bubblegum (sticky but effective) ;)

Subject: A new sensor idea (perhaps)
I was musing over what the well sensored robot would be
sensing next and it crossed my mind that a small metal
detector sensor might be an interesting addition.
Light sensor electrical interface. Brick sized. Limited range
but could provide interesting input for searcher/grabber
robots.
So #1. Design and build the sensor. Not too hard.
#2. Build a grabber that can pick up a quarter.
Now that could be tricky! Sometimes, even the human
end effector has trouble with that one!
Thoughts?
