After surfing through many sites, and (sadly) even more 404s I have been unable to find a definitive list of gcc, binutils, BrickOS etc. versions and patches that I should and could be using. Presumably everybody here has up to date versions of all (...) (17 years ago, 13-Apr-09, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

First (zeroth?), thanks to all the information and helpful hints. I should have realized that the worm gear doesn't fit with the rack, as their pitches won't match up. That's really obvious and I should have seen that. Second, the worm -> gear -> (...) (17 years ago, 6-Apr-09, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) To be fair, I think WeDo is targeted at much younger audience than the RCX and NXT. The chart on page 2 of the Dacta catalog actually specifies it as elementary school only, while the NXT is elemetary school through college. Which means WeDo (...) (17 years ago, 5-Apr-09, to lugnet.robotics)
