Hey folks. I played around a bit with brickOS a couple of years ago but never got around to do anything serious. And now I thought I'd look into it again, if only for the joy of low-level coding. So I noticed, like others before me, that brickOS (...) (19 years ago, 23-Nov-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Hi, Sorry I'm quite unused with lugnet.robotics groups and I don't know if this has been announced yet. (URL) Philo, Michael and Isabelle (philo's delightful daughter) authored a book about NXT !! Didier (19 years ago, 23-Nov-06, to lugnet.robotics.nxt, lugnet.books)

(...) Ha ha, that is a valid point. I don't THINK it will be a problem (there I go, thinking again), The angle of the pictures makes it a little questionable, but if I remember the specs I saw on the US sensor, I don't think the area of sensitivity (...) (...) That is pretty sleek! I can't believe I don't have two of these yet. (Come to think of it, I don't even have one yet.) But if you activated the ultrasonic sensor, it would probably tell the NXT "watch out, there's a BIG TIRE right in front of (...) (19 years ago, 22-Nov-06, to lugnet.robotics)

 | | NXT trike

Here's a quick project I've been playing with. It is a NXT trike built around the NXT and the large power puller wheels. It is controlled remotely from another NXT via bluetooth. Not much else to say, check out the pictures on NXTlog here: (URL) I (...) (19 years ago, 22-Nov-06, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) Have you checked Lego's online shop? They are available for most regions. (URL) expect they are stocked in Lego Shops too, but there are none near me. Regards, Tony Naggs (19 years ago, 20-Nov-06, to lugnet.robotics)

 | | Extra NXT sensors?
|
|
Hi, Anyone know where I can get extra NXT sensors? (I'm still slightly surprised that there's only one touch sensor supplied with the kit!) PS I have found that building a compact 2 wheel + castor NXT robot is harder than it looks! :-) (19 years ago, 20-Nov-06, to lugnet.robotics)
