| (...) logging machines were inspired by the elephants once used to move logs about, they seem to have similar configuration and work in a similar way. | Hi, i want to build a small pnumatic grabber for a little single rcx robot that i am building. The only problem is, i only have the pnumatic parts from the backhoe and ultimate builders set. | G'day Gahlord, Just outof interest, as an experiment with my science class, we easily towed 30kg (66pounds) on a trolly, using a robot with two motors, 8 tooth gear driving a 40 tooth gear. Traction was the limiting factor, with tyres slipping - the (...) (22 years ago, 14-Nov-03, to lugnet.robotics)
