Hello John, thanks for your help. I have found the link and I will reinstall cygwin. Since I am a 'beginner' here, are there any guidelines for me how to work with the prebuild binaries? (...) Your cygwin installation is not working correctly. You shouldn't be experiencing any instabality as a result of running cygwin & unix commands. I would uninstall cygwin and try reinstalling it. Having no luck getting BrickOS and the cross compiler package to build under Mac OS X 10.2.2, I thought I'd try moving my previously working djgpp directories and LegOS 0.2.4 directories to a Virtual PC DOS session...only to remember that djgpp (...)
