(...) Unfortunately, that won't fix the bug because later on it says: CFLAGS=-O2 -Wall which will ignore the existing value of CFLAGS. If you print the racetrack on A4 sheets you could rearrange them like a jigsaw puzzle. Each sheet is a "Straight" or a "chicane" or a "90deg left" or whatever.
