  BrickOS & Cygwin

I've downloaded and installed test release 09. Once again things worked very well. But there is one definite problem with this release (as well as 08) when running under Cygwin. In Makefile.Common the lines ifdef BUILDING_HOST_UTILS # ---...--- # (...) (23 years ago, 19-Nov-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Darn, I missed that one. Yes, it is the LegWay. Oh, wait. There was a mix-up with the travel plans, and it was re-scheduled for Dec 20th. I wasn't going to say anything, until I actually went out to film it. Trust me, I'll let you know when it's (...) (23 years ago, 19-Nov-02, to lugnet.mediawatch, lugnet.robotics, lugnet.starwars)

Re: BricxCC release 3.3.6.5 - BrickOS support

I just installed BrickOS using the install docs for windows (via cygwin). Work fine first try. Took a long time tho since I was lazy and install everything in cygwin rather than picking through and only taking what was required for BrickOS. (...) (23 years ago, 19-Nov-02, to lugnet.robotics)

  Lego appearson TechTV

I was perusing the "The Screen Savers" website ((URL) and came across a reference to a "Lego Segway" in the production notes for 11/15/02. In the actual show's web page, there is no reference to this. Could this be Steve Hassenplug's "Legway"??? - (...) (23 years ago, 19-Nov-02, to lugnet.mediawatch, lugnet.robotics, lugnet.starwars)

Re: BricxCC release 3.3.6.5 - BrickOS support

(...) No, it does not install BrickOS, Cygwin, the Hitachi H8 cross-compiler tool chain, my Pascal support for BrickOS, or my pre-built Hitachi H8 GNU Pascal compiler. I am working on a simple set of instructions (a modified version of what is on (...) (23 years ago, 19-Nov-02, to lugnet.robotics)
