  Re: N. California Sites/Events?

(...) You can, if one vendor has those things in his/her shop. Or you can put in several orders with different shops. Search for the most rare thing from your list, and then when you get a list of shops that offer that part, browse around to see if (...) (23 years ago, 18-Jun-02, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: intro and question

(...) Well, I can understand that - which is why I suggested NQC as an alternative. It'll be harder to learn this way - but if it keeps you motivated to work at it then you may ultimately have more success than if you'd gone the other way and given (...)   Re: N. California Sites/Events?

Thanks. Can I put in an order like this: 1 differential gear 6 10-lug axles 20 2x8 bricks 4 24t gears etc.? I suspect not, but I sure would like something close. I think I'll go to the BayLug and see Tom McDonald. He sounds like he could provide (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jun-02, to lugnet.robotics)

I also remember someone using a submerged 9 volt geared (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jun-02, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: intro and question

(...) Robolab is a wonderful tool for working with the RCX. I agree that the interface is unusual, but it accurately reflects the way that National Instruments (creator of LabView, the father of Robolab) views the world. They see everything as a (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jun-02, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: N. California Sites/Events?

Hi Wayne, The northern California hotbed of LEGO activity is the Bay Area-- BayLug actually meets fairly regularly (I think down in Fremont). Otherwise it is pretty dead up here, although a while back someone from the Reno area was looking for (...)   Re: Linux, Cygwin, DJGPP: what is it all about?

Wow. Michael, this helps a lot. Thanks. But now I have some other questions... (...) Yes, that makes sense. But having the LegOS image would save the "Beginning LegOS User" from needing to learn how to build that stuff, when that knowledge (how to (...)
