How many RCX's and what software do you need to control the Vending Machine requiring 4 sensor input ports and 5 output ports at Brickshelf's (URL) it require RCX to RCX or Scout communication, e.g., Robolab mail? (...) You can do this but it's not recommended. As the RCX 1.0 has a bridge rectifier on the power input, it's recommended you use a 10v AC supply, to avoid buring out the diodes. ROSCO (23 years ago, 18-May-02, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

(...) StackOverflowError could either be a stack overflow (maximum depth is 10) or a thread that dies from whatever exception (that seems to be a bug, but I couldn't yet figure out what causes it). (...) No, they didn't, that was just a rumour. You can power an 1.5 or 2.0 RCX by connecting a _regulated_ 9V DC supply to the battery connectors (with the correct polarity of course). To power 3 stalled motors I think you need around 1A (not quite (...) (23 years ago, 17-May-02, to lugnet.robotics)
