  Hmm... install not going so smooth
 
Hello, I decided to scrape my machine today and when I tried to reinstall legos I ran into a problem compling the cross compiler under cygwin. Here is a list of the packages I have installed: Cygwin Package Information Package Version ash 20020131-1 (...) (23 years ago, 14-May-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Someone has a site with a video of a robot they made. In the video, you can see the two IR LED's blink. The site owner made a comment about what the blinking was caused from. Typical remote control IRs like the RCX system are usually in the 870 - 950 nm range, just below visible red. A standard silicon CMOS camera chip will "see" this fine unless it has an IR cut filter (commonly installed in camcorders etc). Silicon is (...) (23 years ago, 14-May-02, to lugnet.robotics)
