Tony- AI is a huge field, encompassing a variety of algorithms and techniques. Some of them will work OK on the RCX, others take just too much computation, especially when floating point is required. What text editors do you guys use to write your IC code? I am on a Windows98 machine and having a real hard time finding one that doesn't add all of the extra formatting. (...) Yes, and no. It is an interpreter, that you can type (or upload) ASCII text to. It then compiles it into an efficient bytecode (really 16 bits) that lets you execute later. It allows for LOTS of variables and best of all, you don't need to be (...) (26 years ago, 18-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.robotics.rcx.pbforth)
