  10024 Red Baron

Just got a Red Baron in the mail today! It's a great set, much better than the Sopwith Camel. It's quite a bit stronger, the bottom is filled in to a greater degree, and it has far more moving parts and other details. The rudder turns, the wing and (...)   Re: Brickmania #03 Country Mill (Dan Siskind custom model)

In lugnet.reviews, Kerry Raymond writes: [big snip of excellent review] (...) Not necessarily true: historically (I believe, but can't cite references immediately) it was illegal to grind one's own grain in many areas, so one had to take your large (...)   TOP MOC of the Week / TOP Site of the Month

Hello@all, I don't know exactly where it belongs, but reading the descriptions of these groups it seems to be right here. I kept putting off this project a few weeks, but now it's finished: The new section for TOP MOCs and TOP sites. Everyone can (...) I have done a full review of the updated attraction on my site, you can check it out by going herre -- (...) (22 years ago, 29-Jun-02, to lugnet.legoland.california, lugnet.reviews, lugnet.castle)

Miniland Marina at Legoland, CA review

Hey all, Well I took the family to Legoland today and was hoping to get a good look at the new Miniland Marina they have there (thanks to Conrad Frank for pointing it out). I was very anxious to see it for myself. I was pretty impressed with it, I (...) (22 years ago, 25-Jun-02, to lugnet.legoland.california, lugnet.reviews, lugnet.general)

More Nuva News, including complete review of Onua Nuva

Over at Bionicle Zone Community ( (URL) ) Dimensioneer has posted a rather complete review of the Onua Nuva. He also answers and gives good pics of all the parts and body armor, even talks about the arms/legs (they do not bend by the way). Full (...)   Re: Reviews of Island Xtreme Stunts

(...) Hmm, I find the 1x2 and 2x2 bricks with one axle peg handy. They make modular constructions a little easier than using Technic bricks and pins since the pin always stays with the same brick. Also, the pin is the same color as the brick which (...) (23 years ago, 26-May-02, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.year.2002)

Re: Reviews of Island Xtreme Stunts

(...) I know some people hate 1x2x5 (does Tim C. hate it as much as the 2x4x3?) but I've come to think of these as vertical 2x6 bricks. The real juniorized junk is a fusion of special parts and basic brick, like bricks with axle pegs. (...) It's not (...) (23 years ago, 26-May-02, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.year.2002)
