Re: Moviemaker Set Video Clips (WAS: Lego review in US News & World Report)

(...) The worst part is I got no answer from the tech support when I called or from the email I wrote. The only fix the guy on the phone gave me was to do what I had already done and that was not the fix I wanted. (...) is (...) This is the only (...)   Re: Moviemaker Set Video Clips (WAS: Lego review in US News & World Report)

OK This is not the best thing out there but for some people STUDIOS is just fine. I dont think that LEGO intended for adults to by as many of these as we all did. You must remind your self that this is a first run program. There will be updates to (...) (24 years ago, 30-Dec-00, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.general)

Re: Moviemaker Set Video Clips (WAS: Lego review in US News & World Report)

(...) The issue here is not the quality of the cam per say. The Vision Command set is GREAT. For $139CDN you get parts, the cam, and some really neat software. The Vision recognition is cool but it comes with a camera control program that lets you (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jan-01, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.general)

(...) I can't respond to the main thrust of this thread, but I do want to share my family's experience with tech support. My sons got LEGO Studio for Christmas. They installed the software on our Win98 machine. It kept GPF'ing. On Dec 27 (with a (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.general)

Re: Moviemaker Set Video Clips (WAS: Lego review in US News & World Report)

(...) I had great help from Tech support with this problem. Once I convinced the guy that I knew what I was doing and I had already tried everything there was to try. I got the same patch that I told him SHOULD be on the website. The phone support (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.general)

Re: Moviemaker Set Video Clips (WAS: Lego review in US News & World Report)

(...) The only thing different between the two cams is the colour. (...) Well yes, the Studio software allows you to edit your clips in far more detail. At confined resolutions. The VC cam lets you capture up to 640x480 with full control over the (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.general)

Re: Moviemaker Set Video Clips (WAS: Lego review in US News & World Report)

(...) ...There's a patch? The "online update" trick said everything was peachy... what did the patch cover? (I had no support issues (at least not yet)). Is the patch available through other channels? --- wubwub wubwub@wildlink.com www.sitcatsit.com (...) (23 years ago, 4-Jan-01, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.general)

Re: Moviemaker Set Video Clips (WAS: Lego review in US News & World Report)

(...) what (...) patch (...) All I know is it kept me from getting a GPF everytime I tried to use the camera. I could get into the software with no problems but when I tried to record something it would poop out on me. The was no readme file so I do (...)
