I had been calling it "mauve".  I wouldn't want a whole tub of these pastel
bricks, but they only use a small amount of it for highlighting, and it looks
OK.

I built this set <set:7314> yesterday, and I liked the design and piece
selection.  I don't mind the funky martians so much... I'll only buy a few of
these sets and only end up with a couple martians.  They can become the Timmys
of the LEGO Space universe, bravely venturing into potentially deadly yet
humorous situations that other minifigs steer clear of.

I only had two functional complaints about the set.  First, the right arm's
flamethrower tends to fall off a lot.  The trans-yellow cone doesn't fit
snuggly on the end of the gray technic post, and there's a considerable gap
where the gray post shows through which the red cylinder doesn't cover up (OK,
so the second part of this is mostly an asthetic complaint).  The second
problem is that the gray tubes that run from the shoulders to the hands pop off
every time I reposition the click-hinges in the arms.  The model looks nice
sitting on the table, but pieces fall off when you actually play with it.

I am not sure about TLC experimenting in new colors before we get some of the elements we have been seeking in the same old colors. I don't see (...) (24 years ago, 27-Nov-00, to lugnet.reviews)
