It's a shame they didn't do this in two (identical) pieces. Would be easier
for storing, more flexible (e.g. extend the width of the valley) , cheaper
to produce and distribute.
[Would also be more like LEGO, or what we thought was like LEGO. In a way, I
suppose the one piece baseplate *is* typical of LEGO now. Anyway, don't
start a debate on this issue here all over).]
