I've seen mention of this and was curious, how do you know if a part has
been juniorized?

Compare and contrast these 2 sets:

6340 Hook & Ladder (Fire Engine)
http://nt1.pncl.co.uk/huw/view.asp?Set=6340-1&f=1&r=1

&

6447 Fire Fighters' Lift Truck
http://nt1.pncl.co.uk/huw/view.asp?Set=6477-1&f=1&r=1

Town Jr sets are aimed at younger kids - so they have fewer parts and are
easier to build. This is not such a bad thing, apart from the fact that it has
replaced "Normal" Town. Perhaps one of the worst aspects of Town Jr is that is
has left trains high and try - whiteness the 4560:

(...) Actually a better set to compare the crappy new Fire Lift Truck with is the original Fire Lift Truck. (URL) (...) <sigh> -Lord Insanity (25 years ago, 22-May-00, to lugnet.reviews)
