"The Adidas Guy", as you put it, is Zinedine Zidane, one of the world's top
midfielders. He led France to World Cup glory in 1998 and was honoured with the
"Europe's Player of the Year" and "World Player of the Year" awards that year.
He wears no. 10 both when playing at club level for Italian club Juventus (of
Turin) as well as on the French National Team. He is French but his ancestors
are from Algeria. I guess he's comparable to the likes of Brett Favre of the
NFL in terms of importance to the team and popularity.
BTW, can you get the team buses in the US? Someone said that while they have
train windows these do not have any glass insets. Is this correct?
