This piece is used on the newer pirate ships to attach the spars to the masts, there the advantage is that the spars are now studs up, which means pirates can stand on them (for (...)   Informal Review of 4806

Set number: 4806 Set name: Axe Cart Price paid: 2.5 USD (Actually $3, but with kmart's "buy one, get other 50% off", I bought three $3 sets so each was 2.50) Piece count: 27 Likes: -The minifig - Brown armor with bull pictures printed on torso + (...)   Re: B-Wing Review

(...) ship. Funny, I thought the fact that the set included another RED astromech was great. With all the RD-D2s it is nice to have a set (other than the Y-wing) with a red one to add variation. 4 different astromechs can be made with 2 blues and (...)   Re: B-Wing Review

In lugnet.starwars, Steve Bliss writes: <snip> (...) The SW answer: Astromech droids are used for more than just co-piloting starfighters. They are also programmed to assist with computers, repairs, and other mundane tasks that humans may not want (...) (25 years ago, 7-Jan-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.reviews)

  Re: B-Wing Review

(...) [Snipped review, if you haven't read, go do so!] Very well-done review. I agree with everything you said. This is a great set. It's the first SW set to feature a 'building'. Well, at least sort of. The ship is sizeable, the parts are good, the (...) (25 years ago, 7-Jan-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.reviews)

  Re: 5824 Millimy's House

(...) I should have highlighted that that was not a complete parts inventory. Yes, there are dark pink "cherries". The blue thing inside the tower is a opening box (I think I've only seen these in Scala sets, but not sure). (...) The blue is the (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.belville, lugnet.reviews)

  Re: 5824 Millimy's House

(...) thanks so much, frank! aren't there also some magenta scala-berries in this set? i'm only going by the catalogue pics, but there appears to be some in the blue bucket... there also appears to be something blue inside the trans pink tower. this (...)   Re: B-Wing Review

(...) I'll be the first to admit that none of the Lego EP1 sets hold a candle to the MOCs that have been posted here. (In fact, probably the only Lego SW set that holds its own with some folk's MOCS is the X-Wing.) I'm just saying that, for (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.reviews)

  Re: B-Wing Review

(...) I certainly am not. Both the A-Wing and B-Wing are awful models, IMO. They are tiny, flimsy and rather ugly, especially when compared to just about every MOC I've seen of them. Of course, I'm biased because of my MOCs, which are two of the (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.reviews)

  Re: B-Wing Review

(...) Wow! Now thats saying something. Does that include the Snow Speeder and the X-Wing as well? I personal don't expect to be as impressed this time around as I was with those to sets. As far as the B-Wing goes I expect to like it for what it is (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.reviews)

  Re: B-Wing Review

(...) Your B-Wing is definitely superior to the Lego one. As I said, the set is a fair representation of the ship (minus the engine compartment), although the ship itself is a bit unsubstantial compared to the "real" thing. The Lego version just (...)   Re: B-Wing Review

(...) My parents love taking the bags out of the box and taping them up so there isn't a rattle to be heard. I hate it...in a way :) There is such a beautiful sound when you shake a Lego box. :) Ryan (25 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.reviews)

  Re: B-Wing Review

You beat me to it! I have been waiting to get a B-Wing so I could compair it to mine: (URL) doubt I will rate the model quite as high as you because just from the picture I see some things I don't like but then again I am biased having built one (...)   Re: 5823 Millimy's Bedroom

(...) Yup, I don't think there are any parts which are not visible in the picture. (...) Note I said "For anyone ACTUALLY collecting...".
