I am not a castle builder, but recently came accross seven of these sets[1].
In my opinion, this set has TONS of cool pieces, especially if you are going
to build your own castles. It has lots of sloped bricks, arches, columns
and castle-specific parts (Walls, corners, turrets, hidden doors, etc). Not
to mention alot of Mini-Figs
It also comes with 2 large 12x24x1 Green "baseplates", which are actually 1
brick high. (My favorite part, along witht he black 2x2x11 columns and
1x12x3 arches, as they will be incorporated into my space ship designs)
I'm still sorting through the parts and putting them up on eBay, so i'm sure
that I will find more things that I like about this set.

[1] Sets were purchased at the local KB Toy Outlet/Liquidator for the very
cool price of $39.99 each (50% off!). They were marked down to $55, but
rang up at $40 for some reason. Who am I to argue with the computer? So
you might want to check that out before going to shop-at-home if you have
one in the area. Also, TRU had them marked down $10 the last time I
checked.
