Of course the only thing I have to disagree with you about is your
impression that passing is impossible.  As you may have seen in my bad form
reply to my own post, I was able to complete some passes last night.  This
morning I found it even easier to make passes and actually managed to
complete 2 passes in a row - twice! I think that like with the shooting, the
passing gets easier with practice.

If I get the chance over the weekend I'm going to see if I can actually
manage to catch myself completing a pass on video.  If I do I'll upload it
to the web and post the address.

Came home from work today and immediately hit the court. I videotaped my
passing drills and have a short clip that shows two passes being completed.
I've rendered it in both MPEG (1.4 mb) and RealVideo (700 kb) formats.

The direct links are below.  Right-click and Save Target As to download and
THEN view.  They're not set up as streaming video.

Once I've got my 3433 set in place (to be converted into the Brickmond
Basketball arena) and my team in shape, I'll be issuing a challenge to take
on others at BrickFest 2003.

I realized this afternoon when checking the official Lego site that 3433
isn't even available yet.  And just when I was really starting to get
enthused about some full court action - oh well, guess I'll have to go spend
my money on some new Orient Expedition sets instead.

Cool, I fooled with this for some time one evening and gave up. Now, I wonder, how easy is it to do with the pros? I've noticed that the pros shoot significantly further so I'll bet passing is easier to do at range with them. Have you noticed any (...) (22 years ago, 10-Feb-03, to lugnet.reviews)

After I read this reviews here I just bought the 3431 Street Ball 2 vs 2, to see if it is really that fun as it seems to be. And I must say, I am not dissapointed. I was quite amazed that my first shot went right through the basket. I was even more (...) (21 years ago, 11-Sep-03, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.sports)

(...) Mark - I just finished checking out your review of the NBA theme and as always I enjoyed my visit to the Land of Bricks. You continue to do a great job with the topics you choose to focus on and the presentations you come up with. I've always (...)
