| (...) Yep. I know they showed up chrome in a few different sets. Well, OK, at least two, one of which is 2963. They look even weirder (i.e., more un-LEGO-ish) without the chrome. My kids have got one set of those, and I can't count the times I've (...) (24 years ago, 15-Nov-00, to lugnet.town, lugnet.fun, lugnet.reviews, lugnet.general)

| (...) Heh. (...) Of the pieces in the set, only the exhaust pipes even seem exotic to me. In fact, that's why I bought it, to get a pair. Somehow I'd managed not to get them. There is something (to me) un-LEGO about them... they follow such a (...) (24 years ago, 15-Nov-00, to lugnet.town, lugnet.fun, lugnet.reviews, lugnet.general)

Gosh, LEGO has only featured those since 1962. ;) Actually, I don't think this set includes any new pieces--the minifig, the antenna, the spoiler, the wheels, the windshield, the exhaust pipes-- these pieces (...) |
| Hi I got the 4533 at the new LEGO Imagination Center in Chicago, along with 5 promotional bricks(maybe I'll scan it on BrickShelf) and the #4541 Road-and-Rail Repair Truck. The set took very little time to build, but was actually a very clever (...) (24 years ago, 14-Nov-00, to lugnet.reviews)

| (URL) the Extreme Racer, the folks at LEGO have taken their idea of classic interlocking building blocks to the, uh, extreme. The components of this scale-model, off-road buggy are definitely not like the old LEGOs. There are rubber tires, rotating (...) | This is true, however, I have had problems with this, namely: 1. It is a little hard to "split" the clip at the right place. You must drag to the exact place and make sure you are in the right frame position, instead of, for example, just clicking (...) (24 years ago, 9-Nov-00, to lugnet.reviews)
