(...) And, more importantly, Ben Grimm (aka the Thing) was the size of a normal human, while BURPMAN(!) is about twice the size of a minifig. Isn't he? I don't have one, but I want one. eric (25 years ago, 3-Aug-99, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: Rock Raiders: 4940, 4950

I think BURPMAN is great. Not very versatile but very cool-looking (even if he is ugly. I bet BURPMAN subsists entirely on a diet of Timmies. But RPG fans know what BURPMAN really is... A stone golem. Put a wizard next to him and voila! (...) (...) (25 years ago, 23-Jul-99, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: 4560-4561 Gaaaaahh!

(...) Oh dear. The cars were the one reason why I might have bought that set. (Apart from the big supply of clear windows in the carriages. How are the windows done?) I liked the fact that they had decent sized wheels - I hate those huge oversized (...) (25 years ago, 13-Jul-99, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.reviews)

In lugnet.reviews, Frank Filz writes: <snip> (...) <snip> One nice feature of this part is that it doesn't have any tubes on the bottom to grip bricks.   Re: Rock Raiders: 4940, 4950

(...) Oh dear, is he that bad? I was going to get one of those sets just to get that guy, so I could put him in a rocky cell in the caverns beneath my (currently nonexistant) castle.   Re: Rock Raiders: 4940, 4950

How could I forget my biggest gripes? 1) Both sets came with the same minifig. With so few sets in a theme you would think they would all be original. Its okay.   Rock Raiders: 4940, 4950

Got these sets last night at TRU. They had all but the base 4990. The sets came with a catalog with SW E1 on the cover (I haven't seen this one yet). On to the sets... Main colors are grey/dark grey, which will go well with my space crafts. The (...) (25 years ago, 8-Jul-99, to lugnet.reviews)

  4560-4561 Gaaaaahh!

I just built my 4561 (4560 is the same set without the speed controller, not available in the US, so now I have 23 extra speed controllers instead of 22). I hate it. Heck, my kids hate it.
