(...) Ah, THAT nose cone. Shows I usually collect space sets, doesn't it :-) Well, if you look at the changes they did with the plates, this changes is logical. It is the same useage that they improved (you can now attach it onto a larger plate, (...) (20 years ago, 25-Oct-04, to lugnet.reviews)

(...) Just noticed, that there are two versions of set 7075; I bought a second set, labeled "limited edition" (same price), which included motor AND battery; when mounted, this acts as counter-weight and makes the ship float reasonably. (...) By nose cone I meant this piece: (URL) I don't see why TLG would need to replace it since it a fairly new piece. (1994). I looked at the zoomed in picture on S@H and I couldn't see the holes for the studs. But I was relieved when I see they (...) (20 years ago, 24-Oct-04, to lugnet.reviews)

(...) Yeah, that's the one. At first I didn't notice it, but the openings are very visible in the nose of the plane. The pictures on the box do show the new elements (like this piece and the sloped windows), but the instructions show the old (...) (20 years ago, 24-Oct-04, to lugnet.reviews)

| | Set 10159 - City Airport
|

Disclaimer: this is my first review, so I'm not familiar with what a review _should_ look like. Anyways, here it goes: Set 10159 - City Airport is a re-release of set 6597. This means it is from a time when you could actually build a city with (...) (20 years ago, 23-Oct-04, to lugnet.reviews)

| | Set 7075 JacStone Pirate Ship
|
|
Well, I've waited some months, but finally this ship was on deep discount. First: it IS a JacStone set, so as expected, there are ugly figs and lots of big pieces. It's intended for 4-year old kids, and indeed there is hardly anything in it that is (...) (20 years ago, 12-Oct-04, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.pirates, lugnet.year.2004)

444 pieces, $50 US retail or $70 Canadian. The candy shop is sweet, but, in my opinion, should have been put in a separate set on its own. The "converter" one-piece brick is neat and could provide some fun for the target audience. There are some (...) (20 years ago, 4-Oct-04, to lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.reviews)

4751: Marauder's Map Price: 9.99, now 6.99 at Wal-Mart Pieces: 106 BrickLink part value: about $15 Value: Quite good This fills the $10 playset slot in the HP 2004 lineup. As such its role is to make a tiny building with one action scene. It's got a (...) (20 years ago, 9-Sep-04, to lugnet.reviews)
