Although I guess if you wanted to add comments, you would have to store
everything in a database.

Well, if you store it in a database, then you only need to get a directory
listing the very first time the page loads (like when the thumbnails are
created)...after that, it can just get the array from the database, which is
most likely faster.

BTW, just a simple question to all you fellow PHP-ers. Do you upload a
model by inserting all your stuff into a database manually and then
upload the images into a directory, or do you make a form that does
it for you? Ive already made a form for my site, but I think its
kind of hard to make comments for individual images on it because you
dont know what order the images are beacause they will be put in
alphabetically.

I use a form, and upload my images manually. For my photography website (still
under construction), the photo file names are all stored in a database table
with a caption, photo data, and an automatically generated ID number. The photo
entry also contains a field for the gallery number. The gallery numbers are
associated with the gallery name, directory, and description in another table.
That way, when a gallery is called up. I can search for all the images with that
gallery number and create the proper listing of photos.

Other than that, Im trying to finish sorting an RBR and my Luna Spire. After I
finish sorting and clean up the mess that is my Lego room, I can start on a
project Ive been pondering for a while. --Bram
