At my local Wal*Mart they have photo disks, photo CD's and online storage. I looked ino this one day and you get low resoulution images for 3$ on a disk, high resoulution images on a CD for 7$!!!! (...) Um, check on that? IANAL* but I have heard that the c-in-a-circle is not a good substitute for writing out thw word 'copyright'. I could be misremembering, however - it may have been using (c) (like, in a plan text file) that was not (...) (25 years ago, 20-Jul-00, to lugnet.publish)

(...) Right. As of March 1989, published works do not need to have a copyright notice in order to gain protection. However, it's still good to put it there, because apparently "I didn't know that was copyrighted" has been a successful legal defense (...) Hey Erin- I have another city for you...My city (The LEGO City of Chris Fortier, www.chrisfortier.com) is located near Norfolk/Virginia Beach (180 miles southeast of Washington DC).
