  Re: Mecha Legs

(...) Um, check on that? IANAL* but I have heard that the c-in-a-circle is not a good substitute for writing out thw word 'copyright'. I could be misremembering, however - it may have been using (c) (like, in a plan text file) that was not (...) (25 years ago, 20-Jul-00, to lugnet.publish)

  Re: Mecha Legs

(...) Right. As of March 1989, published works do not need to have a copyright notice in order to gain protection. However, it's still good to put it there, because apparently "I didn't know that was copyrighted" has been a successful legal defense (...)   Re: Town/cities map

Hi - I have 2 cities, but both have now been destroyed. You could place them in the general vicinity of Los Angeles California on your map. A link to my web page is here: (URL) put a generic link to my web site rather than specific links to each (...) (25 years ago, 18-Jul-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.town, lugnet.publish)

  Taking pictures of Lego

I've got a quick question (although feel free to drift the subject as much as you want): :-) What have people found to be the best material and color for use as a backdrop behind their Lego models for taking pictures? I've played with black, but it (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jul-00, to lugnet.publish)

(...) Cool! (...) Well to be honest, I'm running through a T1 line, so I'm not an effective judge of download times. Perhaps when I get my 33.6 hooked up at home again... Personally, I don't mind waiting for a 83K page over the modem. (In fact, I (...) (25 years ago, 13-Jul-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.publish)
