     (...) Well, let's see...the CP800 has a 2x optical zoom and a 2.5x digital zoom. When I took those pics, I was basically holding the camera about 4" away from the 'figs.    (...) I have the Coolpix 950 and love it. It does 3x optical zoom (and some sort of digital zoom, which is mostly useless unless you're really short of space on your memory card and need a cropped shot) and the macro mode is 0.8 inches to infinity. (25 years ago, 10-Jan-00, to lugnet.publish)
