Re: The LEGO CD as a book, and other ramblings....

(...) I suggest you inquire at No Starch Press. They have published some AFOL books in recent years. Your CD as a book (even an abbreviated one) would make an awesome addition to their lineup and cross-selling among titles would be highly likely and (...)   Re: Bricking Bavaria wrapup and Billund visit...

(...) The building itself is 4 x 5 feet, so it will be about 20 or so feet x 5, best guess. I was really impressed with the level of detail it has. Joe (18 years ago, 19-Dec-06, to lugnet.events, lugnet.general, lugnet.publish.brickjournal, FTX)

Re: Bricking Bavaria wrapup and Billund visit...

I'm sure may of us will have been in the situation where they thought a model was the real thing from the thumbnail. Well, when I saw this full size I still thought it was real, the venue before setup or something! Outstanding. (URL) How big is it (...)   Bricking Bavaria Report: Day 1

Hi all, Through some luck (and some cheap airfare) I decided to go to an overseas convention this year - Bricking Bavaria, to be exact. The display begins today, and there was setup all last night (and I mean ALL last night). The group of attendees (...)   Re: Unlikely Society: Chapter 1

(...) Well, there's about as much humor and excitement as you can get into just 4 pages. I really like the special effects. They look top notch! David (18 years ago, 31-Oct-06, to lugnet.town, lugnet.publish)

Re: BrickJournal 4: The LCAD Issue

I've (only just) noticed that pages 74-75 are repeated on pages 76-77. Dunno whether its worth fixing now Tim (18 years ago, 27-Oct-06, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal, FTX)

  Re: BrickJournal 5 is out!

(...) You really need to give your team credit - they sorta took me in on the first day and before I knew it, I was an unofficial team member.   Re: BrickJournal 5 is out!

(...) Ralph, Good to hear from you and good idea - I had considered doing that a couple of issue ago, but I really should revisit fire engines and fire stations.   Re: BrickJournal 5 is out!

(...) That's how I found him - I saw his work on Brickshelf and searched around online until I found his account on 1000-steine...but his link was in German. My inquiry, wasn't taken very serioously at that point, so I didn't get a reply. About two (...) (18 years ago, 25-Oct-06, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal, FTX)

  Re: BrickJournal 5 is out!

Joe, Congratulations to you and the Brickjournal team. I know there were quite a few people who doubted that you'd be able to keep the standard as high as that of the first few issues. Well, they needn't doubt anymore. I have to admit that I haven't (...) (18 years ago, 24-Oct-06, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal, FTX)
