This ship really looks awesome. I also appreciate the very nice
detailing both in the model and its fine descriptions, while preserving the
minifig scale simplicity..

If only you wouldn’t spoil the game by cutting an authentic lego piece into
two...

I’m hoping Lego will see how good a two piece rowboat/whaleboat will be and
follow my lead. ;-)

Excellent idea. Two pieces: a stern/bow section and a straight one to allow
different lengths. Just similar to multi part floating boats of the good old
times (no this was even befoe lugnet). It actually looks awesome, too. This
would be the second best thing after reviving the pirates line.
But it would be an excellent idea only if TLC had officially released it. So
it is still a blasphemy, besides being anticommunitarian and #17. thing that we
don’t want to see here.
