Ahoy,
The recent Bricksmeet 2003 was an opportunity for some of the folks from Port
Brique to go on a bit of a day sail.
Both the good guys (the French) and the bad guys (the Brikkish) were
represented: Jacques Legeaux with the Misérable, and Reginald Stalwart-Hope
with the HMLS Intractable.
Here they are, bow to stern, to give an indication of the relative size of the
French Frigate and the Brikkish Sloop (Six centre sections against three... 28
guns against twelve...)
The Misérable
ran out a broadside of fourteen guns, while the Intracty kept her
gunport lids tightly closed to hide her lack of cannon (which was even worse
than the limited number of gun ports would suggest. .Pirate regulars will note
that the person having a look at the Misérable, is none other than the
Governor of Port Block himself!
Thanks to Kerry Raymond for taking the pics!
Cheers
Richie Dulin

| (...) there is quite a size difference between the two, seeing them relative to each other. (...) have not seen much from port block in a long time! does he still build ships? in any case, looked like a good time was had by all, except the Intracty, (...)
