  Re: Figure head for 6285

Martin, It is the pirate wench head, identical to the one used on the female member of the crew. (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jun-01, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.loc.au)

  Figure head for 6285

Can somebody please tell me what face should be on the figurehead at the front of the 6285. Thanks, Martin (23 years ago, 5-Jun-01, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Puerto Bonita

(...) I believe that is the worst series of Puns I have experienced in a newsgroup! Seriously, how badly do we need a minifig guitar?! I'd love a couple, they would work in almost every theme. My cowboys need one, as does my castle Bard. Nigel, (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jun-01, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Puerto Bonita

Absolutely brilliant detailing, photography, inventiveness and imagination. I love pictures where there's lots to see, and you find more when you go back. I love the lanterns :-) But there's a bloke in this one who seems to be making a bit of a row (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jun-01, to lugnet.pirates)

  Puerta Bonita follow up

I'd like to say thanks to everyone here at Lugnet. I was really excited to hear from you all, and I was completely surprised by the response! I consider compliments from you all very rewarding, as I have long respected your work as well. I mentioned (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jun-01, to lugnet.pirates)

Re: Calling Frank and Lego Direct Out! (was Re: Puerto Bonita)

(...) I do actually build occasionally. In fact, to be honest, one of my problems right now is that I really don't have enough space to display everything I've got built. I predict I will be building more in the future. Believe it or not, but my (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jun-01, to lugnet.pirates)

Re: Calling Frank and Lego Direct Out! (was Re: Puerto Bonita)

(...) Yes, I *was* starting to wonder about that! :-) Glad to know you're back to your irascible self, it wasn't the same with the new you around. In defense of Frank, I know he's trying to build up a rather large fleet for the pirate game at (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jun-01, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.dear-lego)

Calling Frank and Lego Direct Out! (was Re: Puerto Bonita)

I apologize in advance for hijacking the thread about your wonderful MOC, Jon, but... =) (...) I am probably the last person who should express this, especially since I am about to go into a "lego-hibernation" for a few months and therefore Castle (...)   Re: Why aren't we going crazy?!?

<snippy snip> (...) I cannot agree more! Bring on the Futuron, Blacktron, and monorail! If lego ever rereleased these sets, they would sell like hotcakes among the AFOL communtiy, and I'd sure think they would sell better than the new stuff to the (...)   Re: Puerto Bonita

(...) Definitely, I love taking pirates and even town pieces into castle. Of course, I'm a little close minded in that I stick my creations to a mostly Castle era. :-) But I definitely want to have MOCs for other themes when I get the money to (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jun-01, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Puerto Bonita

I love cross polinating from theme to theme, and since the paradisa theme has some great "female" (quite sterotypical) features, I always go there when I'm looking for detail ideals. I also use several belville and scala implements, I hope that Lego (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jun-01, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Puerto Bonita

(...) Wow, thanks for the compliment! The scarf came about as kind of an accident. I was looking for a way to make some "respectable" ladies for the town (lego seems to think one wench, who I happen to adore in all of her disrepute, is enough woman (...) Hi Jon!! Your city is awesome, it's packed with details. I love all the little things, the market especially. Very nice. And I second the call for an overhead shot! -Shiri (23 years ago, 1-Jun-01, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Puerto Bonita

This is really great Jon. The whole town is full of character. The only other thing I would like to see is an overhead shot, to get an idea of the layout. Also maybe a little more detail of the individual buildings. Well anyhow, it looks great, (...) (23 years ago, 31-May-01, to lugnet.pirates)

(...) at Frank. Not so. He is a god to me, and I just suck at Ebay! Due to lack of space in my den, the city itself no longer exists. Some of the buildings have been transplanted to Tan baseplates for use in my upcoming "Zorro" creation. (an eerily (...) (23 years ago, 31-May-01, to lugnet.pirates)
