Re: WTB or trade for Masts and Fleet Database, anyone interested?

(...) I certainly agree that a MOC with extra cannon and whatnot would class as more. One thing which does need a little clarification though is how cannon are counted. The way I interpret the Pirate Game rules, a class 7 ship (BSB or SES for (...) (23 years ago, 25-Apr-01, to lugnet.pirates)

Re: WTB or trade for Masts and Fleet Database, anyone interested?

(...) I recall some thread where Steve said he had something like 75-80 hull classes and I had at the time just over 100. (...) Wooden ships and iron men, not iron ships and wooden men. :-) Bruce (23 years ago, 25-Apr-01, to lugnet.pirates)

Re: WTB or trade for Masts and Fleet Database, anyone interested?

(...) Perhaps it would be the better way, i just was looking at overall stuff too. Like troops and guns. i don't know. Another problem is i haven't played ESPG yet(been trying to find some of my wargaming friends to) I look forward to it though. I (...) (23 years ago, 25-Apr-01, to lugnet.pirates)

Re: WTB or trade for Masts and Fleet Database, anyone interested?

(...) Oh, don't apoligize for promoting my fleet is bigger'n your fleet (see message #99 on the pirate board here for my guilt in starting that practice). I'm always willing to indulge in it, though my pirate fleet is sadly in need of repairs since (...) (23 years ago, 25-Apr-01, to lugnet.pirates)

Re: WTB or trade for Masts and Fleet Database, anyone interested?

(...) Link? As far as using Evil Stevie's Pirate Game ship classes with MOCs, I think most of the ships out there would fit within that ratings system, and there are several of us who could do a pretty good job of rating MOCs. But I'll certainly (...) (23 years ago, 25-Apr-01, to lugnet.pirates)

Re: WTB or trade for Masts and Fleet Database, anyone interested?

As i previously said, i would slap something makeshift online. so here it is, it can be improved upon. it explains most of the criteria and why i think it would work on the pages. questions, comments, complaints, suggestions, modifications, monkeys, (...)   Re: WTB or trade for Masts and Fleet Database, anyone interested?

(...) Though at least if we get it in a database, we don't all have to repeat our posts, we just need to go update the list. I just wish I could find the time to build all my ships. Then, if I don't have the largest fleet, I can at least be (...) (23 years ago, 24-Apr-01, to lugnet.pirates)

Re: WTB or trade for Masts and Fleet Database, anyone interested?

(...) Check the "Boat" section. Lots of platforms, diddly in the way of masts. Just keep looking - they'll show up sooner or later. (...) This requires that one has a website. :-) Actually, Steve Jackson's page was supposed to have an area for (...) (23 years ago, 24-Apr-01, to lugnet.pirates)

Re: WTB or trade for Masts and Fleet Database, anyone interested?

(...) It is probably best to ask in lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade to look for ship parts. My reccomendation would be to look on eBay. A lot of ship parts get put on eBay. The other thing to do is watch for hidden 5976 River Expeditions and 6493 (...) (23 years ago, 24-Apr-01, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Help!

Do not worry about the sails too much, you can use muslin cut to the pattern of the tattered sails. Look for the following. Tall brown rigging Black base mast pieces that are approx. 4" tall ( not the 4x4plate w/base for mast) Crows nest Red or (...) (23 years ago, 16-Apr-01, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Help!

  Re: Help!

(...) I think masts and rigging are harder to get, but then I'm not a purist, and I'd be willing to cut up muslin for sails. I even used the Weapons Wagon cover for a sail on my daughter's boat. George (23 years ago, 16-Apr-01, to lugnet.pirates)
