  Re: Different/exchanged heads

It's probably more a matter of taste and expediency. For example, I've changed the heads on all of my bearded warrant officers for smileys, to turn them into privates. Oh, I had to add shakos as well :-) But, speaking entirely hypothetically, if I (...) (24 years ago, 18-Mar-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.pirates)

  Different/exchanged heads

I have a couple of questions the more informed members may know about. Do builders exchange the smiley face heads from one torso to another? I know this is a dumb question but the reason I ask involves the purchase at auction of the Imperial red and (...) (24 years ago, 18-Mar-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.pirates)

Port Block, Port Block Yards and Studs - on the move...

Re: Weekend of LEGO Pirate Games!

(...) Hmm, that would still probably be a 7-8hr drive for me, and would be a significant drive for all the NJ and DC folks also. The only advantage for me is that I could dodge all the cities. (...) That's a definite thought--but of course one does not wish to get into the logistics of trying to maneuver ships around running machinery and workers. ;) But if it's possible--or even warehouse space--that's a thought.   Dread Pirate Roberts (was "The Wobbegong sails forth")

(...) I just thought of how to build a "Dread Pirate Roberts" Lego minifig in real life (if you're willing to do a minor amount of "artistic re-touching"). First, take a classic "sunglasses" minifig head, paint small white eyeholes (one on each of (...) (24 years ago, 15-Mar-01, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.build.minifigs)
