I'm afraid I don't build really amazing pirate ships. Since they are primarily
for gaming, they tend to be kept on a scale reasonably even with the stock
ships. I clean up designs, change color schemes, stretch the odd ship into a
bigger one, but the amazing designs of other people I simply marvel at rather
than duplicate. If it can't be done in an evening or afternoon, it isn't going
to get done. The only ships I truly do from scratch are the little Imperial
Trading Post inspired "cutters", and they fit into the afternoon/evening
format.
A pirate town is the more likely long-term project.
