Well, for what it's worth...
If you and/or your wife have family in Michigan, go for the Michigan job. The
day will come when you have kids (do you already?I'm not sure)and you'll
appreciate having family around. My kids only see their grandparents (my
parents)once or twice a year due to distance and it really stinks. My parents
are in town this week and we're having a blast. (My husbands folks are 5 min
away but they're the kind of grandparents who are in the "children should be
seen not heard" camp. Very little tolerence for kids being kids, and
really very little desire to be part of their world.ugh.)
Furthermore, I think you should choose Michigan because it rocks!!!I lived
there when I was a kid (3rd and 4th grade). We were in White Lake, kinda close
to Pontiac. We loved it, but my dad's job took him to Ohio. I won't mention what
we thought of Ohio ;-)
Whatever you choose, good luck to you :-)
