Job Status - Ugh!

To all,
Well, as most of you know, the AEI office I am working for official last
day is tomorrow (Even though work wise, it isn't yet), and I am wrestling
with two options: 1) I got a job offer from Black & Veatch here in Ann Arbor
( http://www.bv.com ), and 2) a similar offer to go to the AEI's new office
in Rockville, Maryland. Either choice is a nice pay increase, and both have
comparable packages. The hard part is the differences being here and in
Maryland, the effect on my marriage, and moving and all that. It is a hard
decision, but I know my wife wants me to go to Black & Veatch. Anyway, wish
me luck as I decide tonight, and I might have a new e-mail address and
signature by tomorrow! I guess I just had to say something about it, I have
been thinking about this for 5 weeks, and I am going nuts! (Some might say I
have been there for many moons, but I digress!) : )

| Well, for what it's worth... If you and/or your wife have family in Michigan, go for the Michigan job. The day will come when you have kids (do you already?I'm not sure)and you'll appreciate having family around. My kids only see their grandparents (...) (25 years ago, 18-Aug-00, to lugnet.people)
